Corporate Social Responsibility
As a responsible corporate organisation, the Ruia Group is committed to the welfare of not only its employees, but to all its stakeholders in its activity space, over and above its business areas. The group takes pride in its social commitment, which includes the society at large and the environmental aspects. In this, the group's Corporate Social Responsibility is basically spread over two activity areas. They are: Health, Education and Sports.
Financial assistance for continuation of studies to bright, needy students joining class XI, as well as college courses. Outstanding achievers who have weathered the poverty storm are carefully chosen for this award. This award is not for the employees of the Group's companies.
The group also donates to various educational institutions for constructing new buildings/blocks for classrooms/hostels etc.
Chairman’s Incentive to the children of Ruia Group employees This is an Incentive, given every year to the children of the employees, especially factory workers, of the Indian companies in the group:
