The Ruia Group acquired a two-and-three-wheeler tube manufacturing facility adjacent to the Falcon Tyres plant at Mysore in 2008 and renamed it as Dunlop Polymers Pvt Ltd. The acquisition was followed by a new paradigm of quality parameters in the manufacturing practices on a state-of-the-art technology platform.

The high quality products, that started rolling out of the plant bearing the formidable DUNLOP brand, were well accepted in both the OEM sector and the replacement market. Enthused by the success, the capacity of the plant was augmented - from 400,000 to 800,000 tubes per month.

Dunlop Polymers has plans for manufacturing of pre-cured tread rubber (PCTR) and bicycle tyres.
