This was the Ruia Group's second acquisition in Europe. While the world was reeling from the economic downturn, Ruia Group chairman Mr Pawan K Ruia quietly worked on his second overseas acquisition: Henniges Grefrath, at Germany. Since acquisition, the company was renamed Draftex Automotive.
The key strength of Draftex lies in its excellence in quality and R&D, its top-of-the-line workforce and its robust relationship with some of the best OEMs in the world.
This was the second stepping stone for the Ruia Group on its journey to the top of the Automotive Sealings business in Europe. The high value products of Draftex created an excellent base for the group to grow, but, more importantly, put the group's credibility on a high pedestal vis-a-vis top-of-the-rung clients.
