Kolkata, 12 July: Jessop & Co Ltd has been awarded ISO 14001:1996 certification for Environmental Management System associated with the manufacture of railway rolling stocks, road rollers, structural components and cranes, hydraulic equipments and testing of mining equipments. The certification, meant for the entire Dumdum plant of Jessop spread over 71 acres, has been awarded by BSI (British Standard Institute) of London, UK. Jessop is one of the earliest recipients of this environment management certification among the engineering units in eastern India.
